One of the best South Indian restaurants in the United States. They have North Indian food choices as well which tastes amazingly delicious!! There is no other restaurant that can be at their Rasam (Hot soup) and Paneer Tikka Masala (vegetarian) dishes. Their service is impeccable. They have just recently upgraded their interior and decor. The ambiance is wonderful. They have many vegetarian and vegan options. They are located in the strip mall area on 38th and Lafayette. They have a big parking area in front of the restaurant. They are great for family friendly and business casual. We have been to this restaurant a million times and will continue to go. You can carry out, cater for occasions and dine in. There are no outside seating. Must try!!

It's been a while, India Sizzling. I was really wanting the buffet-from what I remember theirs was the best-but the pull for Indian after a weeknight walk was too great so there we were. Ordering was a little difficult because their menus don't have descriptions. However, their menu online did so we did that. I ordered Chicken Methi (although I wasn't sure what "methi" was, and couldn't be bothered to Google it, but the description did describe it as a "delicious" dish. How can that be a bad thing? I also had garlic naan and an order of pappad. The menu didn't lie; my dish was delicious. Like all Indian food I've had flavorful, but this had a little something different that made it extra nice. The chicken was also very tender. I learned from our server that methi is fenugreek leaves added to the dish for a different flavor. Everything came out fairly quick, we did wait a bit for our server and in the middle of my order he took a call. I'm not certain if it was a call-in order or a personal call. While he appeared to be the only server, it wasn't busy at that time and his answering the phone mid-order was a little annoying. Aside from that the food was really good and the guy refilling water was totally on top of it. I'm looking forward to revisiting the buffet!

There are no words for how good this place is - but I'm going to try! I went for their lunch buffet on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed - but in a good way. The buffet was $22 per person (or close to that at least). You pay at the counter at the end. We were seated and given a bottle of water and then went up to the buffet. There were three main sections. One which seemed to be predominantly vegetarian, another for desserts, and the last one for meat options. My taste buds! I could cry happy tears with how good everything was. I was in India for a month and got to travel both the north and south and the food at this buffet had some southern Indiana options that you don't often find at Indian restaurants in Indy. I would've taken more picture but I was too busy crying happy tears with how good everything was. Don't think, just go. You won't be disappointed

Great traditional biryani with numerous vegetarian options. They aren't afraid to add the spice! Buffets are on weekends!

Andhra Paneer with Naan is like having Indian Pizza! It is even still delicious hours later, just like American Pizza. This place has its share of problems, but the prices reflect that. For the Andhra Paneer ($?), Naan ($1.50?), and a Mango Lassi ($3), I paid around $15 after taxes. NEGATIVES: 1) The restaurant is unattractive. POSITIVES: 1) The food was delicious! Everyone in the family absolutely loves the Naan, especially the children. It faintly reminds me of Crazy Bread, but better. It is fresh made with just the right amount of fresh herbs and spices. The lime tasted good, but looked terrible. It didn't taste like it was old, so I wonder if they cooked it. The onions and herbs were definitely fresh. 2) When asking for the spice to be level 10, they actually made it spicy! Sometimes, as a melanin-deficient person, I might not be given spicy food even if I specifically ask for it, but they gave me what I requested. It was the perfect amount of heat. They even included an extra pepper for garnish. 3) They look like they do a good job keeping things clean. To be fair, we ordered takeout, so I didn't see how clean the tables were. 4) They have meat options! I don't think they have pork or beef, but they have almost everything else: chicken, lamb, goat, fish, etc. Next time we go here, I am getting the Vindaloo, and I will give another review. The menu is on a marker board. Does that mean the menu changes regularly? I give it 5 stars because the food was absolutely delicious. Even though it had been sitting around for hours before I had a chance to eat any, surprisingly, it was still delicious. Excited to try it piping hot!

Why have I never been here before?! Our group of four stopped by around 7 p.m. on a Friday and were seated right away. The restaurant was about half full and had a cozy and laid-back ambiance. There was a nice variety of options on the menu, including a decent amount of vegetarian options. We started with the vegetable samosas and they were packed full and fried perfectly. I ordered my favorite Indian dish, Aloo Gobi masala. This might be my favorite Aloo Gobi in Indy - the tomatoes had a flavorful roasted, smoky taste. We also got the Paneer Tikka Masala and thoroughly enjoyed that as well. Plus, the leftovers were delicious! The service was very attentive and polite. Overall, we all enjoyed our food and dining experience. I'm looking forward to coming back soon to check out the buffet!

I ordered delivery from India Sizzling because I really wanted some Chicken Tikka Masala. Ordering was easy and the food arrived piping hot. You would've thought they made it in my kitchen, it was so hot. Everything was packaged well and wrapped up so it made the trip still in tact when I opened it. Every morsel of food was well-seasoned, cooked perfectly, and super flavorful. I will definitely be ordering again.
